Why Participate in NAO?
The National Automobile Olympiad (NAO), organized by the Automotive Skills Development Council (ASDC) in collaboration with CBSE, is more than just a competition—it's a nationwide initiative to spark interest and build awareness about the dynamic Indian automobile industry among school students.

In an era where technology is revolutionizing transportation, NAO offers students a platform to explore emerging fields such as mechatronics, robotics, 3D printing, artificial intelligence, machine learning, automotive design, and computational thinking. This Olympiad aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry expectations, preparing students for future careers in the automotive sector.

Key Objectives:
• Promote automotive education and awareness among students.
• Develop practical skills related to automotive mechanics, engineering, and innovation.
• Encourage innovative thinking to solve automotive-related challenges.
• Recognize and reward talented individuals in automotive engineering and technology.

Eligibility Criteria:
• Who Can Participate:Students from Classes 6 to 12 across all education boards.
• Medium of Instruction: English and Hindi.
• Age Limit: No age restrictions within the eligible classes.


Competition Stages:

1.Qualifying Round (State/City Level):

• Format: Online Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
• Top performers advance to their respective regional finals.

2.Regional Finals:

• Format: Online Live Quiz.
• Regions: North India, East India, West India, South India, and Overseas.
• Top students from each region qualify for the national finals.

3.National Finals:

• Format: In-person quiz and hands-on workshop.
